FAQ's

When will I receive my order?

Each piece of jewellery is handmade and constructed on receipt of payment. Please allow 7 days (UK order) from date of order to receive your item (5 days to create and assemble and 2 days postage).   I normally turn things around much quicker though so if you have a shorter deadline, please me know and I will try my best to meet it.

Please see Delivery Info for EU and Worldwide delivery info.

Can I order gift wrapping?

Yes! Branded gift box and cotton pouches are available to select for each piece of jewellery, all ready for gifting.

If I send it directly to the recipient can I leave a message?

Of course! You can add a message in the 'notes' box at the checkout and it'll be printed and included with your order.

Can you send a gift receipt?

All orders are sent with gift receipts as standard, so there's never any pricing information included should you wish to send a gift direct.

Am I able to use multiple discount offers on one purchase?

Only one discount offer is valid for use with each purchase.

Do you accept bespoke commissions?

Yes, absolutely, as long as the commission is in keeping with the look and feel of OriginSeventyOne designs, I love working with customers to produce a unique piece just for them. Please note that bespoke commissions are non-returnable unless they are faulty.

My order hasn't arrived yet, what can I do?

Orders are sent via Royal Mail and during peak seasons there may be slight delays. Before contacting me, please double check the address on your order, then contact me with your order details so that I can look into it.

What is your jewellery made of?

I use a mix of metals across the range.  Each piece should have a full specification listed on the individual product page. If you have any queries, please get in touch.

Cleaning & care

Everyday wear will inevitably cause gold and silver plated jewellery to tarnish and gold plate and antique bronze will eventually fade, due to being surface finishes. How quickly this happens will depend on how it is looked after, skin type & frequency of wear. Treat it as a precious piece and it will last. To help maintain the plating, store in an airtight container or a jewellery box, don't wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery.  Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping. Please treat with care to enjoy season after season.

Cleaning tarnish from gold plated chain (do not let resin pendent charms/gem stones come into contact with water) To clean gold plated jewellery, use lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Do not use a heavy-duty soap, as it contains chemicals that can damage the jewellery. You can leave your jewellery in the water and soap mixture for around 10 minutes then remove from the water and rinse it off in warm water to get all the soap completely removed and then let it dry completely before wearing it or storing it away.

Are earrings returnable?

No, for hygiene reasons I am unable to accept returned earrings unless faulty.

There's an issue with my order, what can I do?

Please contact me as soon as possible and I'll try to arrange a solution.
